Michael and I went to Pingtung City last night with two buddies John and Ryan. We saw a double-feature at the Pingtung Night market theater - my first time there. Star Trek (my 2nd time - Michael's 5th) and X-men Wolverine - (I think I love Hugh Jackman.) It's a super low budget theater with no frills. The concession stand has only chips, popcorn, canned and bottled drinks- I've never had a can of soda at a movie before. Then half-way through the first movie a worker comes in with a plastic bag to empty two metal trash cans in the theater, without considering that no one can hear the movie over her rattling the cans. The sound quality was really poor - I could barely hear the dialog at times. But the seats were comfy - and NOT assigned ;), the temp was just right, and it was CHEAP - $120 nt for 2 movies - $1.75 per movie. (This pic was not taken at the theater.)
